Thanking him for agreeing to conduct his immortal masterpiece [La vestale] in Dresden, saying that the singers will be Schroeder-Devrient, Tichatschek, [Anton] Mitterwurzer, [Wilhelm] Dettmar, and [Johanna] Wagner, adding that they have changed nothing in the 1807 edition of the score, describing the difficulties of finding enough choristers, etc.
